Stream Test

Just wired the cameras and the “computer” for the camera system to a switch running from the battery. Seems to work, no noticeable latency.

Getting Better at CAD

More Great Stuff

Took off the front bumper (plastic cover) and filled in with expanding foam. Taking longer than I thought, I’ve gone through about 12 cans now between the front and rear. I cut some off the back to start shaping it. Getting some stares when I drive.

Great Stuff

Removed all of the plastic trim around the car, as well as the plastic bumper cover (the metal bumper is still there for legal reasons). In the process, I sanded and repainted the bumper, removing some of the rust that had formed. And so the making of the new body begins…

While the valve cover was off, I decided I would repaint it, and give it a touch of KOIL. Spent a few hours messing around with SolidWorks and produced this valve cover logo replacement. I’m thinking white paint over the the logo and letters will make it pop 😀
